Avios crowned ‘Best Loyalty Programme of the Year - Travel’ at the 2014 Loyalty Awards
Avios has won a highly acclaimed 2014 Loyalty Award. Avios was named ‘Best Loyalty Programme of the Year – Travel’, lauding the company’s success in building the Avios currency over the past twelve months.
The Loyalty Awards, now in their third year, celebrate excellence, innovation and best practice in the loyalty industry across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). They recognise the achievements of those companies and organisations excelling in their approach and results.
Avios’ winning entry showcased how the company has grown and strengthened the Avios currency in the past year with tangible results for both the business and Avios collectors. Key achievements include extending the Avios currency into new markets, with the launch of the Avios Travel Rewards Programme in South Africa and expansion of the British Airways Executive Club collection opportunities globally. Crucially, Avios has maintained outstanding value for members as it expands, while driving airline preference for British Airways.
